The College of Engineering Roorkee (COER) is situated in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, also known as the gateway of Himalayan Ranges.Roorkee is a town located on the national highway (NH-58) which is about 180 km north of Delhi. Roorkee is well connected with roads and railways leading to the country capital, Delhi. There a buses running frequently between Roorkee and Delhi.

The COER campus is built on 75 acres land with lush greenery creating pollution-free environment. COER is an affiliated collegec to the Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU), Dehradun and is recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
