Overview

Cotton University (CU) was established by the Govt. of Assam in the year 2017. Cotton College which is 116 years old college has been upgraded to this new University. The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission. The vision of the University is to be a world-class one, excelling in developing knowledge, both research and teaching, and skills with an emphasis on this part of our country. It provides broad-based education to students to take on the challenges of tomorrow via learning and assessment methods, modern curricula, upholding the highest ethical standards, and provide a clean, efficient and transparent administration.
