Dr. C.V. Raman University is a private university, established on 3rd November 2006, sprawling in a vast area of 500 acres, the university is affiliated to AICTE and recognized by UGC. It is a premier world-class University in Chhattisgarh located in the serenity area of Bilaspur city, and most importantly, in Central India as the Research and Education hub of Professional Courses. Under Dr. CV Raman University Admissions 2019, the university ranges from diverse fields like Management, Arts, Science, Law, Naturopathy and many more.
The college was set up as Chhattisgarh's first private university on 3rd November 2006. The campus of the college is spread in an area of 55 acres with excellent infrastructure in the tribal region of Kota, District Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh. Niji Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam established this college.
Over the years, the university has established itself as the research and educational hub of the region, covering a wide expanse of courses and fields like engineering, management, arts, science, education, law, IT, etc. The college is recognized by UGC and approved by AICTE, NCTE, BCI as well as certified by ISO:9001:2008.
They are a member of AIU and are accredited with B+ grade by NAAC. The corridors of the college is really huge and spacious. The campus has lT-enabled lecture rooms, conference halls, computer and science labs, hostels, library, cafeteria, green areas, and sports facilities. Last but not the least but the college campus is a safe one where no ragging of any means is allowed.

The college prepares the students for the competitive world that awaits them outside the campus. It is the sole aim of the University that they can make the students time spent in the premises a memorable one by giving them a quality campus life.
Lots of cultural activities are involved in the college. It helps to get actively involved in various forms of cultural and co- curricular activities. The aim is to bring out the talented and to provide a platform for the upcoming artists.

Other facilities offered by the college are cafeteria, medical aid, library, medical support, canteen, guest house, and lots of other things. There is a strong anti-ragging committee in the college to prevent the students from any kind of severe ragging.
Transport facilities are also included in the college to help the students and the faculty with the pick up and drop facilities. The University understands the basic needs of its students and their financial needs. Thus to provide them with good financial assistance, we have ATMs set up on-campus and also have association with banks like Bank of India.
Therefore students don't need to look outside the campus, as the university provides them with all financial help.
