The National Dairy Research Institute NDRI situated in Karnal is India's premier institute for Dairy Research. NDRI, Karnal was established in 1923, in Bangalore as Imperial Institute of Animal Husbandry and Dairying then giving the best research technology to the students. In

1936, it was renamed as Imperial Dairy Institue. And then, in 1947, After that the University was named as the National Dairy Research Institute karnal. The institute was accorded the status of Deemed University of India in 1989.

The National Talent Scholarship (NTS) @ ` 1000/- per month is awarded by ICAR on merit provided that the university/institute is located outside the state of his/her domicile.

Admission Eligibilitty Criteria

National Dairy Research Institute Karnal Eligibility

B.Tech - Admission in this course shall be made on the basis of merit through All India Entrance Examination conducted by the Education Division, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Krishi Anusandhan Bhavan-II, Pusa, New Delhi.

M.Tech - Admission in this course is on the basis of merit in the Entrance Examination and Counselling.

Ph.D. - Admission in this course will be based on merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Entrance Examination.

How To Apply For National Dairy Research Institute - [NDRI], Karnal

National Dairy Research Institute Karnal Admission Process

To apply for the admission, the students have to visit the official website of the college. The mode of admission is online only. UG admissions are given as per AIEEA exam scores and PG admissions are considered on the basis of University examinations score. The candidates who are applying must be an Indian Nationals or PIO (Persons of Indian Origin) or OCI (Overseas Citizen of India).

Upload Photograph and the digital Signature.
Choose the mode of Fee Payment (Online Payment Gateway, SBBJ Bank Challan, NEFT Challan (for banks other than SBBJ).
Make the Fee Payment & take a print out of Challan.
If the students are paying the requisite fee through Offline mode, then visit the prescribed bank & Make the Payment of fee.
Submit ICAR AIEEA Application Form.
Now, Application Number and Password will be generated & note them for further reference.
Take a hard copy of ICAR Online Application Form for future use.
