National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, popularly known as NIT Kurukshetra, is a public engineering institute which was established in the year 2002. It is one of the 30 NIT’s established by the Government of India. NIT Kurukshetra has been ranked 60 in the NIRF Indian Engineering University Rankings 2017.
The institute offers B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA and MBA program as well as a doctoral program in Humanities, Engineering, and Sciences. NIT Kurukshetra Admissions are based on the marks secured by the students in the entrance examinations- JEE Mains, GATE, CAT, JMET, NIMCET and DASA. For Ph.D. admissions, the entrance examination is conducted by the institute.
