Sankalchand Patel University (SPU) is a private university in Visnagar, district of Mehsana, Gujarat, India. The Nootan Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal established the university in 2016 through the 2016 Gujarat Private Universities (Amendment ) Act.
The university has a Nootan College of Medicine and Research Centre. It also has eight Faculties: Engineering and Technology (BTech, MTech and PhD), Management Studies (BBA, MBA, Integrated MBA and PhD), Computer Sciences (BCA, MCA, PGDCA and PhD), Science (BSc, MSc and PhD), Commerce (BCom, MCom and PhD), Dental Sciences (BDS, MDS and PhD), Physiotherapy (BPT), Nursing (ANM, GNM, BSc and MSc).
The institution has expert faculty who work under the determined and passionate vision of the director. They aim to offer industry relevant curriculum where they encourage reading and research. They assure quality standards progression of a student’s career.
They also encourage students to have a critical perspective towards behavior, work and organization in the hospitality, hospitals, hotel, IT and business management. In addition to this, they also teach students on how to fulfill and establish human needs and how to solve professional problems in a creative way. During the course, they are also taught about the social, economic and environmental needs.

The admissions at SPU is strictly merit based. Candidates are selected for admission in a course depending upon the marks they have scored in the qualifying examinations from a reputed institute. The overall academic record of applicants is considered before allotting them a seat in any course which is offered by the University . Preference while allotting seats is always given to students who have scored higher marks than others who have applied.
A candidate can apply by going to the official website of the college, where the candidate is expected to fill an application form where he/she is required to fill personal details, courses applied and academic qualification. Details of class X and class XII are also required
The University campus has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with hostel warden in each hostel. The hostels are spacious and comfortable with rooms that are well appointed, self-contained and fully maintained.
