Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College SREC Coimbatore is a well-known Coimbatore educational institution run by the SNR Sons Charitable Trust. As a member of the Board of Studies, it is an autonomous institute where the curriculum and syllabus are continually updated by stalwarts from famous institutions such as ISRO, TCS, Robert Bosch, Vikram Sarabai Space Research Center, Infosys, and CSIR.

At the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, SREC offers a total of 19 courses. Robotics and Automation, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and Biomedical Engineering are among the BE programmes offered by the institute to its students. ME and MBA programmes are also available. There are approximately 323 faculty members on hand to mentor the 4,800 students enrolled at the university.

With a capacity of 2300 students, fully functional separate hostel facilities are offered for male and female students.
