Universal Business School Mumbai scholarships acts that encourage students to perform better in academics. Candidates can avail scholarships only if they qualify the requisite criteria prescribed by the governing body of the scholarship.

Scholarships for MBA/ PGDM at UBS, Mumbai

Economic Scholarship (Early Bird Scholarship)

• Selection Rounds: Application must be received before 15th Nov of the current year. 
• Scholarship  Amount for PGDM: INR 50,000
• Scholarship Amount for Global Programmes: INR 1,00,000

IDFC First Bank MBA Scholarship (INR 2,00,000)

• Students from families with annual income below INR 6 LPA are eligible. 
• The selection process is based on application and interview. 
• The final decision of the scholarship is taken at the sole discretion of IDFC first. 
• Mere eligibility does not guarantee a scholarship.

Special Scholarship

• Scholarship Amount for Armed Forces Applicants: INR 25,000
• Scholarship Amount for Graduates from IIT: 80% of the tuition fee (first three applicants)
• Scholarship Amount for Students with Domicile in Kerala, North East and J&K: INR 25,000
• Scholarship Amount for Parent as Teacher Scholarship: INR 50,000  
• Sibling Scholarship Amount: INR 50,000

Entrance Exam Scholarship

• Scores above 80 percentile in XAT/ CAT or 650+ in GMAT are eligible for up to INR 1,00,000
• 100% scholarship on PGDM fees to 5 students who score 90 percentile and above in CAT. They must also have at least 75 per cent in their graduation. 
• Scores above 90 percentile in CAT/ XAT or 700+ in GMAT are eligible for up to INR 2,00,000.

Merit Scholarship (Up to INR 2,00,000)

• The scholarship is awarded based on candidates' performance in 10th, 12th and Graduation. 
•  Above 85% in graduation receives Up to INR 1,00,000
• Above 90% in graduation receives up to INR 2,00,000

Economic Scholarship (Early Bird Scholarship)

Candidates receive a fee-waiver of INR 50,000/- if they apply before 25th December of the current year. 

Special Scholarship

INR 50,000 is awarded to:

• Children of Armed Forces

Means Scholarship (Up to INR 1,00,000)

• Given to candidates belonging to families with household income less than INR 6 LPA.
• Only one category of the special scholarship is applicable per student. 

Merit Scholarship

• Above 80% in Class 12: Up to INR 50,000
• Above 90% in Class 12: INR 1,00,000
