Defence Post Graduate College of Education was established by The International Heritage Research & Education Society. Defence College of Education is one of the well known colleges in Haryana today. Defence College of Education was established according to the provisions of NPE 2000 to provide academic and resource support at the grass-roots level for the success of the various strategies and programmes being undertaken in the areas of elementary and adult educations. The Objective of the college is to promote, develop and recognize the capabilities and universal values in the students teachers needed for cohesion and welfare of society and nation and to become the centre of academic excellence in the area of teacher education by providing quality teacher education Programmes at par with the national and international standards to the rural youth inculcating in them our heritage, culture and values along with complete education.
