For admission to the PGDM program at Asia Pacific Institute of Management, the basic eligibility is a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and a valid score in exams like CAT, MAT, XAT or CMAT. The admission process for me included an application form, followed by a GD and Personal Interview. The cut-off isn’t very rigid and depends more on overall profile and performance in the interview.

Placement

Rating

5

Asia Pacific Institute of Management offers good internship opportunities in marketing, finance, HR and analytics with companies visiting every year during the summer internship drive. The final placements are also decent, with a variety of roles offered by corporates. The college provides mock interviews, GD training and resume sessions to prepare us for the process.

Infrastructure

Rating

5

The infrastructure is well-maintained and supports the academic requirements of the students. The computer labs are functional and equipped with updated systems for project work and research. Classrooms have projectors and proper seating, which makes learning comfortable. Although the college does not have a large sports ground, it organizes indoor games and small recreational activities for students.

Hostel

Rating

5

My hostel experience has been comfortable overall. The rooms are clean, well-ventilated and come with basic furniture like a study table, cupboard and bed. The mess food is decent and mostly hygienic, with simple meals that are suitable for daily routine, though the variety could be improved. Hygiene inside the hostel is maintained regularly, and the staff is responsive whenever we raise any concerns.

Faculty

Rating

My experience with the faculty has been very positive. The professors are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts in a clear and practical manner. Classes are interactive and often include case studies, presentations and discussions which help us understand the subjects better.

The college also offers merit-based scholarships depending on entrance exam scores and academic results, and there are loan assistance options available through partnered banks. Overall, the admission process was smooth and student-friendly.
