Date of release of CBSE 10th and 12th results

Out of the CBSE 10th and 12th results, the 10th results had to be out on July 20. But, there has been a delay. This delay happened because the board has advised some of the schools to revise the marks after submission. The board has prepared and issued a list of schools that need to revise their mark sheet.

These schools are supposed to submit their mark sheet by July 25. For the schools that fail to submit their mark sheet on time, their results will be declared separately. The same date got issued for the class 12th results. The CBSE gazettes have also been working on Eid which is a National holiday.

To help the colleges submit their list faster, the Regional Offices and the Examination Department of the headquarter will function from 10 am to 5 pm. Also, the board has released some FAQs about the CBSE 10th and 12th results on their official website. It is for answering common questions of the students before the exams.

For the 10th and 12th results, the board has informed the schools that the portal will close on July 22. The results will get declared on July 31.

The CBSE 10th and 12th results will be on their official website that is cbseresults.nic.in. It will also be available through the DigiLocker platform. It is on the DigiLocker platform only where the students can access their CBSE pass certificates.

How the results would be calculated Using alternative assessment method for both 10th and 12th classes

This year also CBSE 10th and 12th results will not have the merit list of students. Because of the ongoing pandemic condition in India, there has been a change in the evaluation pattern and criteria of CBSE results. It is the result of why the merit list will not be out.

The alternative scheme of assessment is the process by which this year’s results will be calculated. It is according to this that the students will be marked. It is how the results for this academic year will get calculated.

For the 12th students, CBSE has set up a 40:30:30 marking scheme. 40% marks will be for the Class 12 pre-board examination, 30% marks will be for the annual exams of Class 11, and 30% marks will get allotted to the annual Class 10 exams.

This year the CBSE exams got cancelled because of the rise of Covid cases in India. The country was in a desperate position at that time. So, the best decision was to cancel the exams keeping everyone’s health as a priority.

How students feel about the results that will be released
