CUET PG 2022 registration date has been extended and candidates who are yet to submit applications can do it. National Testing Agency (NTA) which conducts the exam has now extended the last date to July 10 enabling more people to apply.

This exam, CUET PG 2022 is conducted to provide admission into postgraduate courses in central universities located across India for the academic year 2022-23. A notification is also available on the official website of CUET PG 2022 hosted by NTA.

The notification says ‘In continuation to the Public Notice dated 19.05.2022 and 18.06.2022 , NTA has decided to extend the last date of submission of Online Application Form for Common University Entrance Test CUET PG 2022.’

Extended Schedule of CUET PG 2022
According to the extended schedule, last date for submission of application for CUET PG 2022 would be 5 pm of 10 July 2022. The last date to pay the application fee online is now 11:50 pm of 11 July 2022. The window for correction of application forms will be open from 12 July to 14 July (11:50 pm).

Corrections in the online application forms with regards to CUET PG 2022 can be done and payment of additional fee (depends on corrections made) can be made till 11:50 pm on 14 July, 2022.

The candidates are requested to undertake the correction(s) very carefully as no further chance of
correction will be provided to the candidates after the above mentioned correction policy. The candidates are advised to keep visiting the NTA website(s) https://cuet.nta.nic.in/, https://nta.ac.in/ for latest updates in connection with CUET PG 2022.

It is also worth mentioning that that Delhi Technological University has withdrawn its participation in CUET PG 2022. The applicants who have applied for the paper code can get in touch with Delhi Technological University for exact information.

There is more to it than meets the eye. Sources say, about 64 universities have registered for participation in CUET PG 2022. Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi have added M.C.A. in their existing Programmes which is added in the list. That is not all, there is more to it. Sources further say, new University has been added and it is NICMAR University, Pune. The bunching list of programmes for NICMAR University, Pune is mentioned in the list of the participating Universities. Candidates of CUET PG 2022 can take a note of this point.

The beginning and test
Announcement regarding commencement of registrations (application submission) with regards to CUET PG 2022 was made on 19 May 2022 and the registration began on the same day itself. The last date to submit applications for CUET PG 2022 was 18.06.2022.

The last date for registration was extended till 10 July 2022. CUET PG 2022 will be a computer based test and candidates will answer questions in the exam on a computer. The subject for questions will be graduate level lessons of subjects in which the candidates wish to do postgraduation. For example: If candidates want to study MCom, the entrance exam will have questions related to lessons in BCom for them.

The procedure to apply
The process to apply is online. Candidates have to visit the official website of the exam hosted by National Testing Agency (NTA) and then click the appropriate link for registration and create an account with username and password. Post creation, candidates can login and start filling the application for CUET PG 2022. Post filling the application form, candidates can pay the registration fees an..d upload the required documents and then submit the application form.

Post final submission, applicants have to wait for the final message indicating successful submission. Post obtaining the message, candidates can download it and take a printout and preserve it for future use. This would be useful during the further admission process that would take place after the entrance exam.
