NET 2024 Goes Offline: Pen-and-Paper Exam Confirmed 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a significant shift in the UGC NET format for 2024.  This year's exam will be conducted in the traditional offline mode, reverting from the Computer Based Test (CBT) format used in previous cycles. 

The UGC NET 2024 exam will be conducted using OMR sheets, marking a shift from the online format.

Applications for the exam will be closed on May 19th, 2024, with the exam scheduled for June 18th.

The normalization of scores, a process used to account for variations in difficulty across exam versions, will be discontinued for the 2024 cycle.
