SIXES FOR SCHOLARSHIPS: IPL 2024 TEAMS UP WITH EDUCATION

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season isn't just about thrilling matches. Several franchises are using the cricket fever for social good, particularly in education 

IPL to the Rescue: Cricket with a Cause 

M3M Foundation, in partnership with Shikhar Dhawan Foundation, announced a unique initiative. Every 25 runs scored or 3 wickets taken by Punjab Kings during home matches will fund vocational education for a girl child. This plan aims to support 111 girls over five years.

Other IPL teams are expected to announce similar education-focused initiatives. This collaborative effort can significantly bridge the gap in educational access for underprivileged children
