Rooted in Indian tradition, this contemporary form of the Hamsa, the Swan wholly embodies the vision of CMR University.

The instiution is promoted by CMR Jnanadhara Trust and is established as a private University at Bengaluru through the Karnataka Government by CMR University Act, 2013. CMR University is a New Age University that encourages creativity and cross-disciplinary learning through its unique ‘Education Engagement Model’. With an industry-designed and developed curriculum of study, the focus is on flexible, experiential and integrated learning, involving a blend of intensive academic interventions such as group discussions, case studies, participatory classroom approach, choice of electives and more.

The University has set up a dedicated Office of Student Affairs (OSA) that offers Learning, and Development activities for students at CMR University, by establishing student-centric learning environments, co-curricular activities, diverse opportunities for community building and leadership experiences to understand themselves and navigate the world around.

It has various programmes and one of them is CMRUxCourses and they provide students with workshops, courses and skill-building seminars across disciplines and fields of interest. Students will not require any prerequisites to sign up for these courses. Faculty Chats is another programme. Faculty Chats are conversations between faculty and students across and within disciplines to develop spaces for interdisciplinary learning and critical thinking.

The conversations and spaces for informal chats are necessary components of these events, they are incorporated to create an environment where students and faculty can engage with each other outside a traditional classroom environment, and discuss topics that are not confined to the syllabus. CMR University Bangalore Eligibility Criteria

The condition of eligibility depends upon the type of the course the candidate is wishing to apply. The programmes offered at the institution for higher learning are at graduate, postgraduate and doctorate courses. The qualification for each of these courses is different.

A pass in plus-two is required to apply for graduation, students with bachelors degree can apply for postgraduation. Applicants with postgraduation can apply for doctorate courses. BE/BTech	A pass in 2nd PUC/12th Grade/Equivalent Exam with English as one of the Languages with a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics/Computers (40% for reserved category candidates)

CMR University Bangalore Selection Criteria

The process to apply is online, candidates have to visit the official website of the institution and then click the appropriate link for registration. The registration can be taken up and then account comprising username and password has to be created.

Post creation of user account, they can login and then start filling the application form. The application form must be filled with details like the name of the candidate, date of birth, address, communication information like email, mobile number, course desiring to apply, qualification details. Post filling with these details, students have to pay the registration fees and then submit the application form.

Students can also look for offline mode of application form submission, if made available. Under this mode, candidates can visit the institution premises and then procure the application form along with prospectus. The form can be filled and submitted there itself or it can be brought home and filled and then sent to the institution either through post or courier. Post application submission, students have to appear for a written test CMRUAT (CMR University Admission Test) and pass it with required qualifying marks which is also known as cutoff.

Candidates who pass the written test with required score can take part in the further admission procedure which comprises counselling/interview. Students who pass well-known exams like COMEDK UGET, KCET can also apply for graduation in engineering. Students who have passed PGCET/CAT/KMAT can apply for MBA courses. Students who have attended LSAT / CLAT exams can also apply for studying law courses.

Candidates who have passed well-known national level exams are likely exempted from appearing in the written test conducted by the institution, they can appear for fruther admission process which comprises counselling/interview.

CMR University Bangalore Admission

The process of admission begins with ensuring of fulfilling of required eligibility conditions. Candidates after ensuring that they are fulfilling the required eligibility conditions can apply for the course of their choice in the institution. The process to apply is online, candidates have to visit the official website of the institution and then click the appropriate link for registration. The registration can be taken up and then account comprising username and password has to be created.

Post application submission, students have to appear for a written test CMRUAT (CMR University Admission Test) and pass it with required qualifying marks which is also known as cutoff.

Candidates have to check the eligibility for the exam and ensure they are fulfilling it so as to minimize the chances of rejection of their application at a later stage. 3A. Sometimes after confirmation, candidates may receive an One Time Password (OTP) either on their mobile phone or email after submission of registration form. In that case, they can enter the OTP and receive the final confirmation of submission of registration form and the details about username and password created.

Applicants can login in with the help of credentials (username and password) created and start filling the application form with details – the name (of the candidate), age, date of birth, educational qualification, residential address and permanent address, the course they wish to study, the test centre where they wish to write the test.
