Admission Process

College of Engineering, Guindy Admission (2025-26)

Admissions are now open for the B.E., B.Tech., and B.Plan. Degree Programmes at the College of Engineering, Guindy Campus, Anna University, Chennai – 600 025, for the academic year 2025–26. The admissions are specifically for candidates applying under NRI, CIWGC, FN, LDC, and SIDS categories. Managed by the Centre for Admissions, this process ensures a seamless and transparent enrollment experience for international and special category applicants. Candidates are advised to read the eligibility criteria and admission instructions carefully before proceeding.

Campus

The College of Engineering, Guindy offers a rich academic environment supported by multiple functional centers such as the Centre for e-Governance, ACOE (Additional Controller of Examinations), Library, Placement Cell, Centre for International Relations, Health Centre, and Centre for Student Affairs. Students also benefit from focused units like POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment Cell), SC/ST Cell, and the CPDE (Centre for Professional Development Education), ensuring a holistic and inclusive educational experience on campus.

Hostel Fees

College of Engineering Guindy (CEG) Hostels was established to render outstanding services for the welfare of students. CEG Hostels comprises 22 blocks (located at CEG Campus), out of which boys are accommodated in 14 Blocks and Girls in 8 Blocks. All the blocks are named as the Tamil flower name in India. In addition to this, all the hostel blocks provide the green environment, surrounded by the trees where it provides the peaceful and friendly environment to the students, along with the peaceful chirping of birds.

For each mess, the mess secretary, mess provision in-charge is elected by the students to ensure the proper maintenance of the mess and other mess related activities like cleanliness, hygiene in mess hall and surroundings.
