GITAM Visakhapatnam offers financial assistance to the candidates as detailed below:

Merit-cum-scholarships will be awarded to the5% of students in each department of the University @ Rs. 2000/- per month, which will depend on the given factors:

• Merit of the Student Income of the Parent.
• Merit Scholarships will also be given to those candidates admitted to the M.Tech and M.Pharmacy programs in the University.
• Teaching assistantships will be offered those meritorious students of M.Tech and M.Pharmacy, in the need and availability of suitable candidates, subject to a maximum of three students in each program, @ Rs. 5,000/- per month.

The university offers financial assistance to deserving meritorious candidates as detailed below:

Scholarship 1

Scholarship based on GITAM Admission Test (GAT Rank):

• 1- 50 will get a 100% fee concession
• 51 - 250 will be given a 75% fee concession
• 251 - 1000 will get a 50% fee concession
• 1001 - 3000 will be awarded a 25% fee concession

Scholarship 2

Scholarship based on JEE Mains Rank:

• 1- 500 will get a 100% fee concession
• 501 - 5000 will be given 75% fee concession
• 5001 - 10000 will get 50% fee concession
• 10001 - 100000 will be awarded a 25% fee concession

Scholarship 3

Scholarship based on AP and TS EAMCET Rank:

• 1- 250 will get a 100% fee concession
• 251 - 1000 will be given a 75% fee concession
• 1001 - 5000 will get a 50% fee concession
• 5001 - 25000 will be awarded a 25% fee concession

Other eligibility criteria

Candidate must have passed or appeared 10+2 or equivalent recognised by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics, along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology

Or

Candidates who have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana/ A.P.

Candidate must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together at 10+2.
Candidates must be 16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.

The procedure to get admission in this institution for higher learning is online and is considered to be very simple, which can be completed very easily. Those willing to apply must meet the required eligibility conditions; students have to ensure they fulfil the criteria required to get a seat in the institution to study the course of their choice.

Students who have studied plus-two from a recognised educational institution can apply for graduation. Those wishing to study science subjects in graduation have to pass plus two in the science stream – maths/biology, physics chemistry. The qualifying degree must be obtained from a recognised educational institution.

Aspirants for commerce courses in graduation must preferably pass plus two from the commerce stream; plus two students from any stream can apply for arts and humanities courses in graduation. Those who wish to join post-graduation have to pass graduation in the relevant discipline. Those who fulfil the eligibility condition can visit the website and apply.

The authorities concerned would shortlist the applications and then call for the further process, which may involve document verification and an interview. The candidates wiiling to join GITAM need to register themselves either online or offiline. Once the registration is done the candidate will recieve his/her login ID & Password which wll help the candidate in the upcoming admission procedures.

Using the generated Id & Password the candidate can fill the application form available both online and offline. The candidate must fill in his /her personal details in the form such as name, parents names, address, contact details, etc. 

Upload required documents:

This is the most important part of the admission process. The candidate must make sure that all the required documents are submitted in their original or attested forms. Some of the important documents to be submitted are, photocopies, transfer certificate, +2 marksheets and signature of parent and student.

Application Fees Payment:

Atlalst the students have to make a payment in the form of cash or card in order to submit the from. The aplication wont be accepted until the paymet is done.
