Jagannath Institute of Management Sciences (JIMS) has come a long way and has now been accorded approval by AICTE to be the approved Skill Knowledge Provider (SKP) under the name Jagannath Community College (JCC) to facilitate Employment & Entrepreneurship. The institute has been set up under the aegis of Jagan Nath Gupta Memorial Educational Society with the sole aim of providing professional education to young minds. JIMS offers multidimensional and multi-disciplinary courses in Business Management, Information Technology, Journalism & Mass Communication, Hotel Management & Tourism, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Jewelry & Accessory Design and Diet & Nutrition.

The institute has appropriate infrastructure along with state-of-the-art Classrooms, IT centre, Communication Lab, Multimedia Audiovisual equipment and presentation tools, Internet and Intranet connectivity in Classrooms, Digital Electronic Labs and FM Radio Studio, Hospitality Kitchen and Labs, Design Studio, Jewellery Manufacturing Lab and comprehensive Library with a hybrid collection of books and journals.

Various scholarship are provided at JIMS for deserving students at both UG & PG level. Besides the central government, multiple state government scholarships for OBC, SC/ST students are available.

Campus –

Apart from infrastructural facilities, the hostel ambience provides sufficient scope for interaction and relationship-building. It provides a congenial atmosphere that gives the new students full scope to know their seniors, learn from them, leverage their knowledge and build lasting relations with them. It is also a common sight to find study groups and project groups working away into the night in the hostel rooms. These interactions play an important role in a student’s life during placements and examinations.

Also to maintain discipline, the allotment of the hostel accommodation is provisional subject to the satisfactory academic performance and discipline of the student. The hostel has a 32 double occupancy rooms and 3 single occupancy rooms. The allocation of rooms is done based on seniority and academic performance of the students. Hostel facilities include boarding, lodging and mess services.
