SAGE University Scholarship Policy for Session 2025-2026

SAGE University provides various scholarship schemes under the SAGE Academic Scholarship Scheme (SASS) to support meritorious students. These scholarships are based on academic performance, sports achievements, and cultural excellence.1. Scholarship Categories

SAGE University offers tuition fee scholarships under the following categories:

The scholarship is applicable only for the first year of the program.

2. SAGE Academic Scholarship Scheme (SASS) – Super 30 Courses

• SAGE University offers 100% scholarship for students in select Super 30 Courses, based on merit.
• The scholarship eligibility is determined by qualifying exam scores for UG and PG programs.

3. General Scholarship for UG & Diploma Programs (Based on 10+2 Marks)

Scholarships for diploma students follow the same criteria.

4. Sports & Cultural Scholarships

Students with exceptional achievements in sports or cultural activities are eligible for additional scholarships:

This applies to students who have participated in tournaments recognised by national sports federations or cultural competitions at the state or national level.

5. Additional Scholarship Benefits

• Early Bird Scholarship: 10% tuition fee waiver applicable only for the first year for UG/PG/Diploma courses.
• Students can avail only one scholarship—either merit-based, sports-based, or early bird.

6. Scholarship Renewal Policy

To continue receiving the scholarship in subsequent years, students must:

1. Maintain a minimum CGPA of 8.0 (SGPA in 1st semester).
2. Have at least 75% attendance in each subject.
3. Ensure no compartment (backlog) in any subject.
4. Sports scholarship renewal depends on continued participation and achievements in university-level competitions.

If a student fails to meet the renewal criteria, the scholarship will be withdrawn.

7. Important Notes

• Scholarships are limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Students receiving financial aid from the government or private organisations are not eligible for SAGE University scholarships.

Hostel Fee Structure (2025-26)

Hostel Admission Guidelines

1. Hostel Tenure: The hostel term is valid for one academic year, aligned with the university’s academic calendar.
2. Annual Admission Process: Fresh hostel admission is required for each academic session.
3. Refund Policy:
   • Only the Caution Deposit is refundable.
   • Other hostel fees are non-refundable once paid.
4. Annual Fee Revision: Hostel and mess charges are subject to an annual increase.
5. Early Exit Policy:
   • If a student leaves the hostel before the academic session ends, a ₹10,000 exit charge will be applicable.
   • The Caution Deposit will not be refunded in such cases.
6. Payment Schedule: Hostel fees must be paid in three instalments:
   • 1st Instalment: 50% of hostel fees + ₹5,000 Caution Deposit (at the time of admission).
   • 2nd Instalment: 25% of hostel fees (within three months of admission).
   • 3rd Instalment: 25% of hostel fees (during even semester registration).
