Placements

The training and placement cell is well equipped with excellent infrastructure to support each and every stage of the placement process in the campus. The Pre-placement talk rooms, Group discussion rooms are equipped with LCD projectors PCs and AV facilities. It also has a sufficient number of interview rooms; many books are also available in the main library to help students prepare for interviews.

TRAINING:

Training is an important tool for the placements as these will help the students to know and get prepared to enter the corporate world. In the view of this at Sapthagiri College of Engineering, we have special training programs for students starting from Semester 1 which will go parallel with the academics till the 100% placements. The program is called “CAREER CONNECT PLACEMENT ORIENTED TRAINING PROGRAM”.

Students are given coaching by one of the best training institutes in the industry. The students are trained in the areas like Business English, personality development, Grooming, Resume writing, Communication skills, Group discussions, Technical and Personal interview skills which are required for getting suitable jobs and also in the area of aptitude according to different company requirements.

Special Features

The training and placement cell is constantly in touch with prospective employers to ensure that they consider SCE students whenever there are job opportunities. On campus interviews and career fairs are therefore regular features at SCE.

The class of 2011 had a total of 35 companies vying for some of the best minds across SCE. The final placement ended with the entire batch of students getting placed.
