Founder’s Scholarship

School Topper with 100% tuition fee waiver and School Second Topper with 50% tuition fee waiver are eligible for this scholarship.

Sikkim Native Scholarship

Students nominated by HRDD, Government of Sikkim are eligible for 25% of waiver in tuition fees. Students bearing COI and admitting directly to the University are eligible for 10% of waiver in the tuition fees.

Employee Ward Scholarship

The ward of the employee taking admission in the University is eligible for 50% of waiver in tuition fees.

Financial Support for faulty development

SRM Sikkim offers more than 10 programs at UG and PG levels to applicants who have either completed their 10+2 education or a bachelor's degree. Admission to all programs is granted on merit, determined from the applicant’s scores in these qualifying exams.

The UG programs at SRM require applicants to have completed their 10+2 (e.g., in science), depending on the requirements of each specific program.

For most PG programs, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in the required streams, which is the sole criterion for merit.

However, admission to the MBA program requires a valid score in CAT/MAT/CMAT or SRMJEEM for merit.

The University would verify the applicant’s qualification, eligibility criteria and other requirements for admissions. The confirmation of admission will be communicated to the candidates directly

Important Note

The admission will be subject to confirmation by SRM University Sikkim. The University reserves its rights to reject an application.

A candidate can pursue only one program at a time from SRMUS. If at any time after admission, it is found that a student has not fulfilled all the requirements stipulated in the offer of admission, the University authorities may revoke the admission and report the matter to the Vice-Chancellor.

The aspiring learners should submit the filled in application form to the University through online or directly. The necessary documents mentioned in the application form should be submitted along with the filled application form

SRM Sikkim Campus

SRM Sikkim is located in Gangtok, located in Gangtok, nestled amidst the mountains, ensuring a scenic view. Apart from the view, the campus boasts modern infrastructure, resources, and expertise.

Media lab

SRM University provides a Media lab (Audio Visual lab) geared with studio lights, boom and lapel mikes, green screen, camera and tripod stands. The lab also consists of PCs configured with relevant software such as Adobe Premium and similar for editing and post production requirements.

Multidisciplinary Research Lab

SRM University houses a multidisciplinary research lab consisting of a Synthetic Research lab, Optical and Electronic Research lab, Phytobiology Research lab, Tissue Culture lab, Zootech Innovation lab, Animal Museum and Instrumentation facility. The lab is a space for undertaking research in multiple fields.

Transportation

The university provides transportation facilities to day scholars, covering three major routes, i.e., Pakyong, Burtuk and Rangpo, with multiple pickup points.

BTK (Hotel Management Kitchen)

SRM University Sikkim facilitates a well-furbished kitchen so as to venture into varied facets of gastronomy, ranging from classic international cuisine to patisserie.

IT Facilities

Within the campus, the internet is easily accessible in all the blocks with high speed Wi- Fi connectivity. Every block has a well-kept computer lab and skilled supervisors.

Classroom

The classrooms at SRM are accented with smart interfaces so as to ensure a cognitive and interactive learning experience apart from the stereotypical rote learning method.

SRM Sikkim Hostel

SRM Sikkim hostel caters to the needs of students from different cities and states, providing a comfortable abode with all the basic amenities available. The institute provides hostels for boys and girls separately with well-furnished rooms, Wi-Fi, entertainment, and recreation. SRM hostel fee for both boys and girls is INR 85,000 per year, which includes the mess fee and miscellaneous. Each student will be assigned a room with twin sharing, triple, or four-sharing. The hostel ensures to provide hygienic food and safety with utmost cleanliness.
