Himachal Institute of Engineering and Technology - [HIET], Kangra was established in 2010. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).  College has a beautiful infrastructure with highly developed educational infrastructure, excellent facility and international outlook. College is Ideally located on the foothills of Dhauladhar Ranges, on National Highway 20 (Phatankot – Manali) at Shahpur, which is 25 kms from Kangra and Dharamshala, towards Phatankot from Gaggal.
