Overview

Magadh University (MU), Bodhgaya was established in the year 1962. It is the largest university of Bihar situated in a sprawling campus of 460 acres of land. There are 44 constituent and 175 affiliated colleges under the University. The quality of teaching, discipline and secular atmosphere attract foreign students every year which has offered a global halo to the University. It offers BA, BBE, BBM, MBA, MA, and Ph.D. in multiple specializations. Admission to such courses is done on the merit basis or entrance test conducted by the university itself. The university has also launched Magadh University Distant Education that offers dozens of Diploma and Degree courses catering to the need of needy aspirants.
