CONDITIONS FOR CONTINUATION OF SCHOLARSHIP IN SUBSEQUENT YEARS

Progress of students awarded scholarship for the academic year in subsequent years shall be reviewed after the end of 2nd semester for continuation, based upon his/her performance in the 1st and 2nd semester. For continuation of scholarship student shall be required to:

  • Maintain a minimum CGPA of 7.0.
  • Have 75% attendance in all courses (excluding education programmes) in each semester.
  • Candidates pursuing B.Ed and Integrated B.Ed programmes should have 80% attendance in all course work and practicum and 90% in school internship.
  • Register for all courses and earn credits for these courses as defined in curriculum scheme of programme of admission i.e the student shall not pursue the semester in under load mode (registering a lesser number of credits).
  • Applicants should not have been suspended for any grave act of indiscipline by the university.
  • No disciplinary action against the applicant is established or pending in case of ragging or eve-teasing.
  • The applicant should not be receiving any other scholarship from any other source whatsoever, for which a certificate signed by student & parents is to be provided.

B.Tech Lateral Entry — Revised Merit-Based Scholarship

The Merit-Based Scholarship Policy for B.Tech Lateral Entry Admissions (Diploma Pass-Out Candidates) has been revised. The updated tuition-fee waiver structure is as follows:

Conditions for Continuation of B.Tech Lateral Entry Scholarship

  • Maintain a minimum SGPA of 7.5 in each semester without any backlog.
  • Maintain a minimum of 85% attendance in all courses.
  • No disciplinary action, ragging, or eve-teasing case established or pending against the applicant.
  • The applicant should not be availing any other scholarship from any other source whatsoever.

The Hostel has a dedicated power back-up through generators along with 24 hrs internet connectivity in the rooms through WI-FI.  It also boasts of a well-managed & hygienic mess where nutritional needs and taste of students are taken care of with RO drinking water. For recreation Indoor & outdoor sports facilities, departmental store, happening eating joints as well as Television are made available. Adequate water supply and  24*7 security arrangements ensure a pleasant stay allowing students to focus on the academics. Various engagement activities are also hosted by the hostel authorities for the resident students throughout the year.
