There was an enormous need for a technical college in the Namakkal region of Tamilnadu. Paavai Group of institutions was established to fulfill this demand in 1998 under whose aegis, the Paavai Engineering College was established in 2001 to provide standard technical education to the students. The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University. Apart from this, the college is also accredited by NBA. It has also been NAAC-Accredited with ‘A’ Grade. The college is known to have continuous state toppers in the University examinations by pursuing global standards of excellence in teaching, research, and consultancy practices.
