Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies was established in 1999 by the GEF Trust, Bangalore. The college was set up with the objective of nurturing talent and creating entrepreneurs through incubating technology businesses. Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies offers Research Programme leading to PhD degree and conduct sponsored research, Industry relevant postgraduate engineering, science and business management education and Industry relevant training, lifelong learning and vocational programmes. It imparts Postgraduate Engineering and Management courses, conducts research leading to Ph.D. and is in collaboration with Coventry University, UK. In addition to this, the college conducts training and lifelong learning programme, offers engineering solutions and supports technology businesses. Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies has developed into a university of national importance with global network and is a highly reputed college in the region.
