About Civil Engineering Course

Civil Engineering Course 2023 There would have been no historic wonders like Taj Mahal, Coliseum of Rome and the Great Wall of China or modern masterpieces like the London Bridge and Howrah Bridge if there were no civil engineers. The engineering course deals with planning, designing, constructing, maintaining, and operating infrastructures while protecting the public and environmental health as well as improving existing infrastructure.

The course also teaches the development of better infrastructural facilities to sustain an eco-friendly environment. Civil engineering course is offered both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This branch of engineering deals with the construction, design, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, which includes public works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewage systems, pipelines, structural components of buildings, and railways.

The prime work of the civil engineers include conceive, supervising, designing, building, operating, constructing, and maintaining infrastructure projects and systems in the public and private sector. This includes the work related to roads, tunnels, buildings, airports, dams, bridges, and systems for water supply and sewage treatment. These engineers are the experts in creating sustainable and environmentally friendly buildings and systems.
