CAT 2025 Application Process

The registration date for CAT 2025 started on August 01, 2025. The CAT 2025 registration last date is September 20, 2025. Candidates can complete their application process through the official CAT 2025 registration link available on the IIM website. Candidates were given time for correction in their forms till October 2025. It is crucial to check the official CAT 2025 registration date carefully to avoid missing the deadline, as late submissions are not accepted under any circumstances. The process includes filling out the form, uploading documents, and paying the CAT 2025 registration fees of INR 2,600 (General category) and INR 1,300 (Reserved category).

For the CAT Registration & Application process, candidates must follow these steps to apply for the CAT 2025 application form

Step 1: Registration - Visit the official website of CAT: iimcat.ac.in and enter your email ID, phone number, and date of birth.

Number and ID must be active and valid, as communication related to the exam will be sent to it.

Step 2: The applying candidate needs to fill the application form by entering their personal details like contact information, academic details, work experience, program preference and exam centre preference.

Note: In case any incorrect information is entered, there will be a risk of the application being rejected. A one-time facility to make corrections in the form is also provided. 

Step 3: Upload all the required documents – Scan and upload your documents (Photograph, Signatures & Required certificates) according to the CAT 2025 Photo Size, Dimension, Format and Other Details. 

Step 4: You will be required to select preferred courses and IIMs, and select test city preference from the drop-down. 

Note: Candidates might select up to five cities for the CAT exam centre allocation on the application form. The CAT admit card will include the city and centre for the CAT exam.

Step 5: Payment of Application Fee - The CAT 2025 Application Fee can be paid online via net banking/credit card/debit card.
