Overview
Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) is a screening test for Indian citizens who have obtained medical degrees from foreign countries. Passing FMGE is mandatory for registration with the Medical Council of India to practice medicine in India.

Eligibility Criteria
Indian citizens or Overseas Citizens of India who hold a primary medical qualification from a foreign university listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools. Must have completed the full duration of the medical course.
Exam Pattern
Computer-Based Test. 300 MCQs in 5 hours. Two parts — Part A (150 questions, 2.5 hours) and Part B (150 questions, 2.5 hours). Covers all subjects of MBBS. Must score at least 150/300 to pass. No negative marking.
