Overview

JEE Main Session 2 is the second attempt for the Joint Entrance Examination Main. Candidates who appeared in Session 1 can improve their scores. For candidates appearing in both sessions, the better of the two NTA scores will be considered for ranking. This session follows the same pattern and syllabus as Session 1.

Eligibility Criteria

Same as JEE Main Session 1. Candidates must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Three consecutive attempts allowed.

Exam Pattern

Computer-Based Test (CBT). Same pattern as Session 1 — 90 questions (75 to attempt), total 300 marks, 3-hour duration. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics sections with MCQs and numerical value questions.

Detailed syllabus and subject-wise topics will be available once the official notification is released. Prepare with standard subjects and reference materials relevant to engineering entrance examinations.
