Jharkhand Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Exam 2022 Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) conducts Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination (PECE) to provide diploma (polytechnic) courses in colleges located across Jharkhand.
This is a state level exam conducted once a year is for students who wish to study courses related to engineering, science and technology in polytechnic colleges. The popular names for the exam is Jharkhand Polytechnic or PECE.
The notification is released on the official website of BIT at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released. The application submission for 2022 took place from 09.05.2022 to 23.05.2022. Students wishing to register can do it at the next appropriate time.
Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.
Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and location of the test centre will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in offline mode and questions related to mathematics, physics and chemistry have to be answered in 2 hours 30 minutes.
Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it.
Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks, If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process. Information about the exam is provided below in a tabular format for the sake of the students:
