Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed the Class 10 exam conducted by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or an equivalent exam with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks in English, Physical Science/Science and Mathematics, among others.
Age limit/Nationality
The candidate must be born no earlier than July 1, 2007. Candidates must be citizens of India and domicile of West Bengal. More information about eligibility is provided below for the sake of the candidates in a tabular format:

Candidates appearing in the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination in 2022 with English, Mathematics and Physical Science / Science/ Science & Technology among others as subjects may also apply. However, submission of pass certificate/ marksheet at the time of admission and conforming to the benchmark of 35% marks (without rounding up) in aggregate as per AICTE norms excluding the marks of the subject taken as additional/ optional, is a must, failing which candidature is liable to be cancelled even after selection in JEXPO-2022. |

Passed 10th Standard / SSC examination and 2 Year ITI after 10th Standard. OR Passed 10th Standard / SSC examination and Minimum of two years full time work experience in a registered firm / Company / Industry / Educational or/and Government / Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is sought shall be eligible to apply. NOC from the employer of a candidate who is currently employed shall be a mandatory requirement. Candidates who are not currently employed, but have two years full time work experience shall be required to submit relevant Experience Certificate. |

The test will be conducted in offline mode as a pen and paper based test where candidates will have to mark their answers on a separate answer sheet. The duration to answer all questions is two hours and 100 questions have to be answered for 100 marks.
The pattern of questions is multiple choice where each question will have more than one reply and right one has to be chosen to get the marks. More information is provided below for the sake of the candidates in a tabular format:
