Overview
NIFT Entrance Exam is conducted for admission to undergraduate (B.Des, B.FTech) and postgraduate (M.Des, M.FTech, MFM) programs at all NIFT campuses across India. NIFT is the apex body for fashion education in India under the Ministry of Textiles.

Eligibility Criteria
B.Des: Class 12 passed. B.FTech: Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. M.Des: Undergraduate degree in any discipline. M.FTech: B.FTech or equivalent. MFM: Any graduation.
Exam Pattern
Written test: Creative Ability Test (CAT) for B.Des (3 hours) tests creative and drawing skills. General Ability Test (GAT) for all programs (2 hours) — quantitative, communication, English, GK, and analytical abilities. Situation Test (studio test) for B.Des shortlisted candidates.
