North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology Entrance Exam 2022 North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST) conducts Entrance Exam (EE) to provide admission into various courses that are classified into NEE 1, NEE 2 and NEE 3. Candidates who are seeking admission into NEE 1 must have passed 10th standard, candidates who have passed 12th standard can apply for NEE 2 and candidates who have passed three year diploma can apply through NEE 3. This is an state level exam and is for those who desire to study diploma or graduation in courses related to technology, engineering, forestry.
The notification is released on the official website of NERIST at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released. Currently the application submission is on since February 21, 2022 and candidates can visit the official website to submit applications online till June 30, 2022.
Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.
Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and mode of the test will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in offline mode and questions related to maths, physics and chemistry, biology and lessons of various engineering streams have to be answered in three hours.
Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it.
Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks, If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process. Information about the exam is provided below in a tabular format for the sake of the students:
