Admission Process

Altera Institute admissions deadline for early entry is December 27, 2025. Students can visit the official website to apply.

Admissions are based on 5 parameters:

Interview performance.

Accepted exams include CAT, NMAT, XAT, and GMAT. Those who have not appeared for these examinations must appear for the Altera Institute National Aptitude Test (ALNAT) post the application submission. While applying, students must submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP) and an essay.

Students are finally invited to the institute campus for an interview. For each candidate, 2-3 Interview rounds are conducted, the first one being a case study round where applicants work on a short business case, followed by a detailed discussion with a mentor. Selected applicants then meet one of the Directors or a senior leader for a personal interview.
