ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION:

Candidates seeking admission in BBA / BCA / B.Com / B.Sc.(CS) / IPM (BBA+PGDM) Specialization Degree Programme must have passed 10+2 (or its equivalent) examination from a recognized Board/University. Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination or those who are awaiting their results are also eligible to apply. Their candidature, however, shall be considered subject to their clearing the qualifying examination.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

The admission form provided by CCS University has to be filled and submitted to the institute. The institute will short list the candidates and shall come up with a Merit List on the basis of the performance of students at 10+2 level. The candidates are allotted seats on the basis of their merit.

ADMISSION CRITERIA:

Candidates interested in BBA / BCA / B.Com / B.Sc.(CS) / IPM (BBA+PGDM) Specialization Degree Programme are supposed to register their names for Asian School of Business Entrance Test (ASET) to be conducted by ASB, Noida at their campus. The test is based on general awareness, basic mathematics, reasoning ability and communication skills. The admission process is based on overall assessment of an applicant’s abilities and potential for a successful management career. For applying for a management course in this college, the candidates have to be a graduate from any recognised university.

Candidates appearing in the final year are also eligible for the courses. But for these students, they have to provide a proof of having met the maximum eligibility and minimum eligibility criteria within 15 days from the date of publication of the result and latest before the start of first term exam.

There are a 4 steps of selection process. 

• The first step is Score of CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT/GMAT will be taken as the preliminary score of admission.
• The second step is The applicants shortlisted on the basis of the qualifying exam scores will be called for the Institute’s selection process. The dates will be intimated to the short-listed students.
• The third step is Preparation of Merit List as per following criteria:

Score in the Common Admission test (CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, GMAT) – 35% weightage

• Score for academic performance in X Std., XII Std., Under Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Degree – 15% weightage
• Group discussion/interview – 45% weightage
• Participation in Sports, Extra-Curricular activities; Academic diversity and Gender diversity – 5 % weightage

The fourth step is The candidate, if selected as per merit list, will be given the selection letter. The selected candidate must pay the registration fee within the given deadline, failing which the offer will be considered as cancelled.

How to Apply

The students can apply in this college through the offline and the online mode. For the offline mode the students will have to visit the office campus. The prospectus and the application form may be obtained from the Admission Office on Payment of Rs. 1000. The students can also send a letter mentioning address for communication.

For the offline mode, the students will have to visit the official website of the college which is www.abs.edu.in. The students will have to fill the form over there. Some of the documents that are required by the college are:

• 10th Mark sheet and certificate
• 12th Mark sheet and certificate
• Graduation Mark sheets and Degree
• CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA/GMAT score card
• Four recent passport size photographs. The Applicant is required to carry three set of the photocopy of the documents (duly attested by a gazetted officer) along with the original documents at the time of admission.
