SPJIMR Scholarship

SPJIMR Mumbai provides scholarships to students in need on the basis of their academic performance, extra-curricular activities, and their conduct. Besides these scholarships, the institute also offers financial assistance to students seeking admission to GMP and FPM programs. The details for SPJIMR Scholarships are mentioned below:

SPJIMR Scholarship for PGDM & PGDM (BM)

SPJIMR Mumbai offers merit cum means based financial assistance to first and second year students of PGDM and PGDM (BM) courses. The financial assistance is provided based on their need, academic performance, extra-curricular activities and conduct. The student is reimbursed with the tuition fee of the SPJIMR fee structure for both PGDM and PGDM (BM) programs.

Apart from financial assistance, SPJIMR offers Mirae Asset Foundation (MAF) Scholarship for PGDM and Merit-Based Scholarship for PGDM (BM). Under the MAF Scholarship scheme, students with a family income of less than INR 8 lakhs are granted scholarships for two years of the program. Every year two participants from the first year and second year of PGDM are awarded scholarships worth INR 5 lakhs each.

Further, the merit-based scholarship will be available for second-year students of PGDM (BM) program only, depending on their academic performance in the first year. Based on the evaluations, applicants are provided partial or full financial assistance.

SPJIMR Scholarship for FPM
SPJIMR Mumbai offers financial support to FPM scholars in the form of a monthly stipend for the first four years of the programme. The stipend will be distributed in phases according to the progression of the programme:

Phase 1: Coursework: Monthly stipend of INR 40,000
Phase 2: After clearing the Comprehensive Qualifying Examination (CQE): Monthly stipend of INR 42,000
Phase 3: After successful thesis proposal defence: Monthly stipend of INR 45,000

Apart from the monthly stipend, FPM scholars will also receive house rent allowance (HRA) of INR 10,000 per month from the university. Contingency grant, conference support, and research grants will also be provided. Details for these grants will be provided after joining the programme.

Admission Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree are eligible to apply. In addition, a few courses require a mandatory work experience in a full-time setup. The final selection for SPJIMR Admission will be based on a valid entrance exam score, academic profile, work experience, and personal interview rounds.

Admission Process

SPJIMR Admission 2026

Admissions to PGDM programs at SPJIMR grant admission to management courses based on scores obtained in examinations. The accepted exams vary by program:

CAT, GMAT are accepted for PGDM / PGPM (BM) and PGPM.
CAT, GRE, GMAT, XAT, and NMAT are accepted for GMP.
CAT, MAT, GMAT, ATMA, CMAT, XAT are accepted for PGPGM.
CAT, XAT, GMAT, GRE, NMAT are accepted for PGPMBM.
Other programs use an Online Aptitude Test (PGFMB) or an Executive Assessment / Test of Reasoning (PGEMP).

SPJIMR Admission Dates 2026

SPJIMR starts its application process for PGDM / PGDM (BM) in mid-September and ends in November. The admissions for 2025 are closed, and the classes will commence on September 6, 2025. SPJIMR Campus & Facilities

SPJIMR is located in the financial capital of India, Mumbai. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport is about 7 kms away from the Campus, while the closest railway station, Andheri, is 2 km away from the Campus. It is known for its Culture and Diversity, Abhyudaya Program, Global Exposure, and Great RoI.

Campus: SPJIMR Campus is spread across 45 Acres in Mumbai. The green campus is well equipped with State-of-the-art Classrooms, Library, Hostel, Cafeterias, a Jogging Trail and Wireless Connectivity.

Hostel: SPJIMR has separate Hostels for Boys & Girls. The hostel rooms are allocated on a Double or Triple Sharing basis. All the Hostel Rooms are Air conditioned and offer a Lake view from Balcony. Additionally, there is a Common Room well equipped with all the amenities.

A Typical Day at SPJIMR: A Typical Day at SPJIMR starts with Early Morning Lectures that can extend until 7-8 PM, but usually get over by 5-6 PM. Post lectures, evenings are dedicated to Assignments, Presentations, Pre-reads for Next Day Lectures etc.
