Syllabus for KU CAT 2022

Candidates have to study the lessons mentioned in the syllabus of exams - CAT, CMAT and KMAT as KU CAT has been replaced by the above mentioned popular exams. However, the syllabus of KU CAT is being provided here for the sake of the candidates.

KU CAT preparation involves studying lessons related to Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability and Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation and General Awareness. Questions from these topics would be asked in the exam. The study material for these topics can be sourced from book stores, online book stores and websites. More information about the syllabus for KU CAT is being provided below for the sake of the candidates:

Quantitative Ability
Numbers and Ages, Problems on Trains, Time and Work Partnership, Problems on L.C.M and H.C.F, Time and Distance, Compound Interest, Simple Interest, Permutations and Combinations, Odd Man Out, Quadratic Equations, Ratio and Proportion, Mixtures and Allegations, Problems on Numbers, Races and Games, Boats and Streams, Percentages, Areas, Averages, Indices and Surds, Pipes and Cisterns, Problems on Numbers, Volumes, Profit and Loss, Simple Equations, Mensuration, Simplification and Approximation, and Probability. 

Verbal Ability and Comprehension   
Sentence Completion, Active and Passive Voice, Spelling Test, Spotting Errors, Error Correction (Underlined Part), Fill in the Blanks, Antonyms, Synonyms, Prepositions, Passage Completion, Error Correction (Phrase in Bold), Substitution, Sentence, Arrangement, Transformation, Idioms and Phrases, Sentence Improvement, Para Completion, and Joining Sentences

Logical Reasoning
Logical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Puzzles, Analytical Reasoning and Data Sufficiency

Data Interpretation
Interpretation and then analysis of data based on text, graphs (line, area), Tables, Venn diagram, Charts (column, bar, pie), etc.

General Awareness
Current Affairs, Awards, Authors, Book, General Knowledge, General Science, International & National Organizations, Abbreviations, Environment, History, Geography, Budget, Indian Economy, Abbreviations.
