UG courses
Candidates should be passed or appear in the Class 12th examination. Applicants should have completed 17 years of age. The subjects in which the students have to pass in class 12 are mentioned below:
For B.E/BTech/BSc courses, candidates should have studied science subjects - Physics, Chemistry, Biology, as well as Mathematics. Moreover, they must have 60% marks in Class 10th and 70% and above marks in Class 12th.
For BCA/BCom, they should have studied Mathematics/Statistics/Information Science/Computer subject and they must have 50% marks in Class 12th in aggregate of all subjects.
For BBA/BA courses, candidates from any stream can apply however, they must have studied relevant subjects like commerce/mathematics in class 12th and also they must have proficiency in English Communication.
For Journalism, mass communication and design courses, candidates should have completed Class 12th with 50% marks and must be proficient in English Communication.
PG courses
Applicants must have have completed or appeared in the final year of their Bachelor's degree in a relevant stream. They must have obtained 60% marks in the graduation.Also, candidates must have qualified in national level eligibility tests like GATE, NET. For MBA course, candidates who have a valid score in CAT/XAT (65 percentile and above) and MAT (75 percentile and above) can also apply. There is no upper age limit for admission into postgraduate courses.
The exam will be conducted in online mode as a computer based test (CBT) the questions will be in multiple choice format where each question will have more than one option and the right one has to chosen among them to get marks. The questions to be answered in the test depends on the subject candidates wishes to apply through SUAT. The subjects for the questions are given below for each subject:
