Additionally, for admission to the B.Tech and MBA programs, Calicut University accepts scores from national and state-level entrance exams, such as KEAM/JEE Main and CMAT/CAT/KMAT.Â

University of Calicut All UG programmes use the unified UGCAP admissions process. Candidates must register through UGCAP to be considered for admission to UG courses in University Departments, Government, Aided, and Self-Financing colleges.
The university’s allotment lists will serve as the basis for selection. There will be two special allotments for SC/ST categories and three allotments for students in all other categories such as Trial, First, Second, Third, and Special Allotments.
Upon receiving a seat assignment in one of the three rounds, candidates will be required to pay the program’s admission and tuition fees. If this isn’t done, admissions will be canceled and those candidates won’t be able to compete in subsequent rounds.

The University of Calicut’s unified admissions procedure called PGCAP is used to admit students to postgraduate programmes at university departments and partner colleges. PGCAP registration is required for applicants wishing to be admitted to PG programs at Calicut University or its affiliated colleges.
Admissions will be made based on the entrance exam rank, and seats will be assigned after that. A minimum of two allotments will be made, with the number of allotments determined by the number of applications submitted for that specific academic year. The PGCAP seat assignment procedure consists of the Trial Allotment, First Allotment, and Second Allotment.Â
For PG programs, admission is based on the entrance exam rank for most courses. However, for some programs like MA, M.Sc., MCA, MSW, LLM, M.P.Ed., and B.P.Ed., admission is determined by the results of the Calicut University Admission Test (CUCAT).
Upon acceptance of their seat assignment, candidates must report to the college to be admitted. After the payment of the money is received, admittance will be confirmed.
