Alliance University to organize great 3 day literary festival

Alliance University in Bengaluru will be organizing three day Alliance Literary Festival 2025 (ALF 2025) from 13 to 15 February 2025.
This the fourth edition of the festival and will be on the theme ‘Asian Century.’ It is said to be one of India’s premier literary and cultural celebrations.


Platform
ALF serves as a platform for intellectual exchange, artistic expression and global dialogue, say sources from Alliance University.
Vision
Rooted in the vision of the Alliance School of Liberal Arts, ALF reimagines Alliance University as a hub for literature, culture and ideas.
The theme
This year’s theme, ‘The Asian Century,’ explores Asia’s profound influence on global history, economics, literature, and geopolitics, say sources from Alliance University.

From the Silk Road to modern technological revolutions, the festival highlights Asia’s role in shaping the world’s future.
Foundation
ALF 2025 will build on the foundation of knowledge, creativity, and innovation, bringing together thought leaders, visionaries, artists, and change-makers to engage in powerful dialogues and performances.


Tlotlo Tsamaase (award-winning author), Arun Yogiraj (renowned sculptor),
Aiyyo Shraddha (popular comedian and content creator), Rajdeep Sardesai (celebrated journalist and TV anchor), Palki Sharma Upadhyay (well-Known journalist and TV anchor) are also among the eminent personalities who would be taking part in the event.
Events
The event will also be having thought-provoking panels, keynote sessions, workshops, and performances.
ALF will be delving into topics like economic powerhouses, cultural identity, technology, and diplomacy, say sources from Alliance University.
It provides a space for engaging with Nobel laureates, renowned authors, diplomats, and emerging voices shaping the literary and cultural landscape.

Competitions
The literary festival will have various contests and enthusiasts can take part in them and showcase their talent.
Dance competition
Asia’s rich cultural heritage would be celebrated through the dance competition which would showcase vibrant colours, traditions and festivals.
Those willing to take part in the dance competition must be 10 years of age at the minimum and group size of the participating teams can have 5 to 10 members.
The performance duration must be of eight minutes at the maximum.
Music and band competition
Asia’s diverse musical heritage will also be celebrated during the festival through a medley of famous Asian songs in a modern band arrangement.
Participants can give a performance in this musical contest for a maximum duration of eight minutes. Teams participating must have three to ten members.
Fashion contest
Fashion styles of Asia will be celebrated through fashion contest which will showcase blending of traditional Asia elements with modern streetwear or high fashion, say sources from Alliance University.
Participants can display their designs for a maximum of eight minutes. Participating teams can have a team of five to 10 members, minimum age of each participant can be 15 years at the minimum.

Also there will be a chance to explore vibrant bookstore, workshops and panel discussion.
