CBSE board exam 2021 is about exams for 10th and 12th standard students to be conducted this year and issues surrounding them.

Even while students have begun demanding the datesheet in connection with CBSE board exam 2021, PIB fact check team has once again requested students not to fall prey to false news doing rounds.

PIB FactCheck team has debunked another news recently in connection with CBSE board exam 2021.

False news was ‘Candidates only required to score 23 percent marks instead of 33 percent marks to pass the exam.’

The circular released by the team made it clear that there is no truth in the news.

The factcheck team said no such changes were made to rules regarding CBSE board exam 2021.

However that was not an end to false information regarding CBSE board exam 2021.

A fake exam schedule did rounds in the social media claiming that CBSE board exam 2021 would begin in March and showed the timing and date on which each subject of 10th and 12th standards would be held.

Factcheck team refuted this too. Authorities requested students to visit the official website of CBSE for any news regarding exams.

The exam centres
Sources tracking the school education sector say, the exam centres for conducting CBSE board exam 2021 could be increased keeping in view the COVID-19 situation.

The number of test centres will be enhanced so that many students can write CBSE board exam 2021 at the sametime following the social distancing norms.

As the time to conduct CBSE board exam 2021 is fast approaching students and parents expect clarity to prevail over the matters concerned with the exams.

Teachers are said to be working on fresh question papers keeping in view the reduced syllabus.

Education experts say, the question papers for CBSE board exam 2021 could be different from the usual as the syllabus is reduced.

Students can practise the model question papers once they are released so that they can get an idea of how the question paper for the actual board exams would be.

The exam delay
Students have to be watchful as far as CBSE board exam 2021 is concerned, say sources keeping track of education sector.

What could cause delay in conducting CBSE board exam 2021? This year certain states in India are going for usual assembly polls.

The present assembly tenure in the states would be ending in May this year.

Which means the dates for assembly polls in the states could be announced in May with elections likely to be held in May or June.

As the tenure of the state assemblies are ending at the time when CBSE board exam 2021 is about to commence, there could be a clash in the dates for both.

Needless to say, to avoid the clash, either of one could be postponed.

However, as of now, all these is a speculation, no announcement has come from CBSE as of now in connection with postponing the CBSE board exam 2021.

Till there is an announcement, students can stick of the earlier declared schedule of 4 May to 10 June and plan their preparations.

While students are relaxed a bit that syllabus of CBSE board exam 2021 is reduced, many of them feel concerned when it comes to JEE Mains and NEET UG 2021.

The portions for JEE Mains and NEET UG 2021 will remain unchanged, say sources from Ministry of Education of Government of India.

This has done a little help to them, say students. It is good that CBSE board exam 2021 syllabus witnessed a 30 percent reduction, however, the same not being extended to NEET and JEE Mains has caused concern.

Many students feel, the dropped portions will not be taught in schools, in this case preparing for the NEET or JEE Mains will be a problems.

As the big question for the students is how to learn those portions that are dropped from the school syllabus as no one is likely to teach them.

It is interesting to note, a notification from Education Ministry of Government of India said students will be given more choices when it comes to questions.

CBSE board exam 2021Students can answers 75 questions from maths, physics, chemistry instead of usual 90 questions in JEE Mains.

The exact pattern for NEET UG 2021 is yet to be announced, however, taking into view the reduction of syllabus by certain education boards, question paper of NEET UG 2021 will have options similar to that of JEE Mains 2021, says the notification.

A few students have taken to social media demanding an increase in exam duration so as to allow them enough time to study extra questions and answer them.
