CBSE Exam – Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has come out with new schedule for 10th and 12th exams. This schedule is for those students of 10th and 12th standards who could not write their exams on earlier schedule in Delhi owing to the violent incidents in the recent past.
CBSE Exam board in certain exam centers located in northeast part of Delhi were postponed in the recent past owing to violent incidents and students attending 10th and 12th exams there had to write on different dates. CBSE has come out with that different dates now and students and parents who have to write exams can refer the new schedule at the link ‘http://cbse.nic.in/newsite/attach/URGENT%20PRESS%20NOTE.pdf’
The note is also available on the official website of CBSE ‘http://cbse.nic.in/newsite/index.html’ After loging on to the website ‘Datesheet for postponed exam of North Eastern part of Delhi’ can be clicked to access the schedule. However, as per the new schedule declared 12th CBSE Exam will be held from 31 March to 14 April and 10th exam will be held from 21 March to 30 March. However, sources say, the new timetable for exams is only for those students who could not write their exams on the earlier decided schedule by CBSE owing to hindrances caused by violence in the national capital.
Rest of students who remained unaffected due to violence will go on with their exams as per earlier decided exam schedule. CBSE has also directed the schools in Delhi to provide details of students who were affected due to the violence in New Delhi to its regional offices on or before 16 March.
Similarly all the affected candidates from various areas of Delhi including northeast part of the national capital and who are registered as private candidates can contact their regional office of CBSE on or before 14 March.
