Delhi University Admissions 2022: Full Details On Online orientation-cum-guidance program
Delhi University Admissions 2022 – For the Delhi University admissions 2022 and for helping the students who appear for the upcoming Common University Entrance Test (CUET exams. The helping hand of the DU committee came in form of an online orientation-cum-guidance program. DU has begun this programme which is scheduled to begin on 7th July 2022.
In this programme, university officials and experts will be there to help the candidates with their queries and issues. Whatever the question the students might be having regarding the exams, results, syllabus, etc will be solved in these sessions. It is open to all students and it is strongly advised that all the students make full use of this opportunity given to them. This opportunity is brought to the students because it is seen over the years that students have enough doubts that remain unsolved because of lack of good counselling because of which the results get hampered.

They also informed the varsity and gave an overview of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which will be implemented in the upcoming academic session 2022-23 and the various courses and flexibility that DU students will have. The virtual orientation-cum-guidance program is being organised under the aegis of Dean Students’ Welfare (DSW) in association with the Institute of Lifelong Learning (ILLL).
Dean of student welfare’s words
In the augural session of this programme, the Dean of the student’s welfare said “The objective of the programme is to provide orientation and academic guidance to the students. We cannot go into detailed curriculum discussions for all the subjects, but we will give an idea about how the multiple-choice questions will be designed, what are the tricks to recognise the correct answers and even provide mock tests.
Students can assess themselves through the mock tests and will also get to know about the various learning resources available to them.”. These were his exact words in the session. He has also stated that through the CUET 2022 mock tests, they will understand the weakness of the students and will help them later. Students will also get to know about the various learning resources available to them. This is highly going to help the students they can perform better in the exams and get better results.
It was also informed that from this academic year, DU is not going to continue with the old age practises anymore. The practice of admission through a merit list or cut-off and has adopted CUET 2022 for enrolling students into the varsity. They are going to do away with this from this year onwards.
Details of the orientation programme
One thing to note is that in this programme the university officials will not go into the details of the in-depth curriculum of each subject because that will not be possible. Instead, they will give a summary of the same. They will give insights to the students on how the multiple-choice questions will be designed, what are the tricks to recognise the correct answers and even provide mock test samples. It is going to be a game changer for the students.
