Engineering graduates can join Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) as executive trainees. NPCIL wishes to recruit executive trainees in various units for which the prestigious establishment is inviting applications.
The vacancies
There are about 200 vacancies in the units namely Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Civil and Industrial and Fire Safety. The spread of the vacancies is 76 for unreserved, 18 for Economically Weaker Section, 29 for SC, 14 for ST 51 for OBC (NCL).
There are also backlog vacancies, two for SC, one for ST and nine for OBC (NCL), the total number of vacancies taking all these into account is 200.
Eligibility
Candidates willing to apply must be an Indian citizen and should be a BE. BTech or a five year integrated MTech with a pass percentage of 60 (minimum).
They should be having a BE, BTech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial and Fire Safety Engineering, Fire and Safety Engineering.
Candidates having related degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Controls are also eligible to apply. Engineering graduates must also have a good score in 2018, 2019 or 2020 GATE score.

Candidates must register and then go ahead with the process of applying for the exam. Engineering Graduates must remember to register their GATE score while applying for the post.

Selection process
Candidates will be selected based on their score in GATE exam for personal interview. Shortlisting of candidates for personal interview for the posts of Executive Trainee 2020 will be done in the order of merit drawn on the basis of valid GATE 2018, GATE 2019 and GATE 2020 Scores by applying ratio of 1:12.
Venue of the interview
The venue for the interview for engineering graduates who have been shortlisted for vacancies in NPCIL or Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd are Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
The time of interview is expected to be fourth week of April. However, NPCIL or Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd can allot reserves the right to allocate date and venue for an interview as it may deem fit which will be duly informed to the candidate and no further request for any change shall be entertained in this regard.
However even engineering graduates applying for the posts can also indicate their choice of venue for attending the interview also. They must also remember to exercise due caution while making this choice for no change may later be possible
Benefits
Engineering graduates selected by NPCIL or Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd for the job will get a monthly stipend of Rs 55,000 and one time book allowance of Rs 18,000. They will also get mandatory lodging and boarding.
On successful completion of training, candidates will get good pay of Rs 56,100 as he will be appointed as Scientific Officer/C in Group A. The pay level in the pay matrix will be Level 10.

Bond
