Applications for 'Openmat' launched

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched its application form for entrance test ‘Openmat’ to seek admission into MBA programme on 28 February. Candidates willing to know more about the course can logon to ‘https://ignouexams.nta.nic.in/WebInfo/Public/Home.aspx’
The dates to submit the online IGNOU application form is from 28 February to 23 March. The fee to be paid for applying for the exam is Rs 800 for unreserved, OBC category applicants and Rs 600 for SC, ST and Economically Weaker Section category applicants. The last date to pay the fee is 11:59 pm of 23 March and fee payment can be made through credit card, debit card, netbanking upto 11:59 pm of 23 March.


IGNOU Application
The duration of the exam is three hours and candidates can attend the exam at the centre mentioned on their admit card. The test will have 200 questions and each question will carry one mark, there is no negative marking for the wrong answer.


The candidates must ensure they provide their own mobile number and email id as any communication will about further process related to MBA entrance will be sent to the mobile number or email id. Admission shall be done on the basis of the score obtained in the on-line entrance test conducted by NTA. After qualifying in the ‘Openmat,’ a learner will have to apply for admission on the specified application form which is given in the e-Prospectus, available on the university website ‘ignou.ac.in‘
