The MBA Batch 2024–2026 induction ceremony was held on June 29 and 30 at IIM Rohtak.
The prestigious MBA program at the Indian Institute of Management Rohtak welcomed its fifteenth class of applicants. There are people in the class from 24 states and union territories, and a noteworthy 73 per cent of them are female. Graduates from a wide range of disciplines, including engineering, science, business, management, the arts, law, design, architecture, pharmacy, and journalism, make up this group.

Certain students at IIM Rohtak have worked for companies like Accenture, Bank of America, Capgemini, Cognizant, Ernst and Young LLP, HCL Technologies, Infosys, KPMG, NatWest Group, Oracle Financial Services Software, PwC, Reliance Jio Infocomm, Samsung, TATA Steel Ltd., TCS, Wipro, and so on. There are also athletes in the group who have performed exceptionally well at the state level in sports like basketball, throwball, and badminton.
Inductees were Shatrujeet Kapur, the DGP of Haryana, Nidhi Khare, the secretary of the Indian government’s Ministry of Consumer Affairs, and Gen. A. K. Singh (Retd.), the former governor of the Andaman Nicobar Islands and Puducherry. The induction event was held on June 29 and 30, 2024, at IIM Rohtak. The dignitaries and new students were cordially welcomed by the event’s chair, Dheeraj Sharma.
The DGP of Haryana, Shatrujeet Kapur (IPS), highlighted the value of networking and education’s transformational power, encouraging students to set clear goals, succeed in their careers, and embrace diversity. The first panel, which included Manish Sharma, Navneet Bansal, Poonam Barman, Rucchika Garg, and Ritesh Agarwal, talked about methods for fostering the professional and personal growth of young leaders outside of the classroom. They highlighted the importance of ongoing self-leadership, collaboration, empathy, flexibility, and resilience—all of which are essential for handling crises and navigating the business environment. It emphasized how management and leadership are different, emphasizing the value of having defined goals and growing from failures.
The second panel discussed leadership lessons from the military and included retired generals Sanjeev Anand, Balbir Singh Sandhu, and Anil Kumar Shukla. They emphasized the fundamentals of strategic leadership, which include setting clear goals, inspiring people, and encouraging collaboration. The panel discussed similarities between corporate and military leadership while promoting virtues like honesty & commitment.
