Candidates aspiring to study post graduate medical courses prepare for this competitive exam.

This exam is conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE).

The registration for this exam took place from 23 February to 15 March. Exam was to be conducted on 18 April.

Keeping in view the COVID-19 situation the date of the test is postponed by four months.

The decision was taken to ensure availability of medical personnel for covid duty.

3. UGC NET exam

The date to conduct this exam was 2 to 17 May this year. Keeping in view, the rising corona virus infections, the date of this test has been changed.

4. UPSC EPFO exam
Union Public Service Commission was supposed to conduct this exam on 9 May to recruit 421 Enforcement Officer (Accounts Officer).

Sources say, taking into consideration the present covid situation UPSC has decided to conduct this exam on another day.

5. Navodaya School Class 6 entrance
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) which is an autonomous body under Ministry of Education of Goverment of India has postponed the entrance exam in connection with Class 6 exam.

The entrance exam was to be conducted on May 16 this year. But this too has now found place among the list of exams postponed in 2021.

6. IAF Star 01/2021
Indian Air Force Star 01/2021 exam has also found place among the list of exams postponed in 2021.

The test was to take place from 18 to 24 April as per the schedule planned earlier.

7. SSC CHSL exam
The Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam of Staff Selection Commission too will be conducted on another date.

Sources say the exam was to be held on 20 April this year. However, taking into account the rising covid infections across the country, the exam date has been postponed.

The new dates for the exam would be intimated soon.

8. UPCET exam
Uttarpradesh Combined Entrance Test (UPCET) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) is also among the list of exams postponed in 2021.

NTA decided to change the date of this test as it was clashing with the date of intermediate exams in Uttar Pradesh.

The fresh date for the exam as per the revised schedule is June 15.

Alighar Muslim University also has decided to postpone its entrance exam for admission into various courses offered by it.

The exams were scheduled to be held from 20 June to 11 July.

10. KSET 2021 exam
Karnataka State Eligibility Test for this year is also among the list of great exams postponed in 2021.

The actual date for conducting this exam was 11 April which was rescheduled to 25 April. However now even that date has also been changed.

Authorities conducting the exam said the new dates for KSET 2021 will be made public soon.

11. JMI Phd Entrance exam
Jamia Millia Islamia has postponed exams for PhD admissions keeping in view the rising covid cases.

The exams were to be held on 20,22,24 and 26 April this year.

12. CBSE 12th exams
Central Board of Secondary Education was to conduct board exams for 12th standard from May 4 to June 14.

But these exams have been postponed keeping in view the current circumstances and covid situation in particular.

Students across the country have shown mixed reactions to the move of postponement.

While a few have suggested conducting the exams, many others have vouched for cancelling them.

Sources say, the situation in the country will be reviewed on 1 June by CBSE and then decision will be taken regarding conducting the board exam.
