Research student category
Candidates willing to apply for MEXT Scholarship 2022 under this category must have completed post graduation and graduation in the respective discipline with the required pass percentage.
Applicants under this category of MEXT Scholarship 2022 must have passed their plus-two or equivalent from a recognised educational institutions with the required subjects.
College of Technology students
Individuals applying for MEXT Scholarship 2022 under this category must also have passed their plus-two with required pass percentage.
The subjects at plus-two must be maths, physics and chemistry.
The students must be studying in one of the engineering disciplines in recognised institutions in India.
Specialised Training College students
Students applying for MEXT Scholarship 2022 under this category have to passes plus-two with required pass percentage.
Applicants for this scholarship get to study advanced diploma courses which provide higher level skills in the field of medical care, technology, culture and general education and others.
Point to remember
The minimum pass percentage in qualifying degrees for applying for MEXT Scholarship 2022 in all four categories is 65.
Applicants must also declare that they are in good health.
Individuals willing to apply for grants through MEXT Scholarships 2022 must also be proficient in Japanese language.
Preference will likely go to those candidates who are proficient in Japanese language.
