NTA (National Testing Agency) is said to have clarified that there would likely be no clash in exam dates of CBSE board exams and JEE Main in case of rescheduling of both exams.
Both the exams have been postponed in the recent past considering the outbreak of coronavirus. Sources further say the clash between dates of both popular exams is least likely as organisations conducting them are likely to jointly decide the new dates.
This if done will be a good news for student community. There is a need to ensure that the dates of 12th exams in particular do not overlap with JEE Main, so that 12th standard students need not forgo either of the two exams.
It is most essential to ensure students do not come across the situation of missing even a single paper in 12th exams. A pass in the 12th exam with a nice percentage is quite essential for the future of a student.

It is therefore essential that students do not miss even a single paper in the 12th exam. On the other hand JEE Mains is also essential as it provides an opportunity for students to study engineering graduate courses in finest institutes of the nation like IITs.
However, issues are likely to still bother NTA (National Testing Agency). The rescheduling of JEE Mains in April can leave little time for NTA to handle another important exam NEET.
The exam conducting agency has to get ready for conducting NEET in a little time after JEE Main. The differences between NEET and JEE Main has to be kept in mind. JEE Main is conducted online, NEET is conducted offline.
Timely conducting of exams is also essential in terms of result announcement. Should there be a delay in conducting of JEE Main exam, there could be a postponement in the date of result announcement.
As per the schedule, JEE Main April Exam 2020 result is scheduled to be declared on 30 April. This can happen only when the JEE is conducted in the first half of April.
While uncertainty governs the existing situation as of now, owing to coronavirus concerns, hope is for betterment in the situation that things will move in a timely manner.
About 12 lakh students are likely to appear for CBSE 12th exams while about eight lakh candidates are likely to appear for JEE Mains.
